A clear, considered design process that starts with how you want to use your garden.
IT STARTS WITH YOU
Before I begin designing, I need to understand what you want your garden to give you. How you use it now. What isn't working. Who uses the space. And what you'd love to be able to do there that you can't do today.
We’ll start with a conversation, followed by a visit to your garden so I can see the space for myself.
INITIAL CONVERSATION
We’ll talk about your garden, what you're hoping to achieve, the approximate size of the space and your likely budget. If it sounds like I can help, we'll arrange a visit.
YOUR GARDEN VISIT
I'll spend time with you in the garden, looking at the space and discussing how you'd like it to work. We'll consider everything from entertaining and family life to privacy, planting, views, levels and any particular challenges. I'll then prepare a proposal for your garden design.
SURVEY & DESIGN
Once you're ready to go ahead, I'll return to carry out a detailed survey.
Your house and garden are then recreated in 3D, allowing me to develop a design that considers the whole space and its relationship with your home.
DEVELOPING YOUR DESIGN
I'll present the design so you can see how your new garden could look and feel. We'll refine it together, with an agreed round of changes included before the final design is completed.
READY TO BUILD
Once the design is agreed, I'll produce the detailed, scaled plans needed to bring it to life.
You can use your own landscaper, or I can introduce you to trusted professionals who know my designs and work.
SEE IT BEFORE IT'S BUILT
3D visuals help you understand the space before work begins, giving you a much clearer sense of layout, scale and how the different areas of your garden will work together.
FROM DESIGN TO REALITY
My role is to design your garden and provide the information needed to build it accurately.
I can introduce you to landscapers I know and trust, or your chosen landscaper can work from my plans.

I'll remain available for agreed site visits during the build, helping ensure the finished garden stays true to the design.
